TEDS twins collect GCSE results

Alexandra & Faye Randles and Alexandra & Melissa McAllister, who all attend St. Edward's College in Liverpool all achieved at least 7 A*-C grades at GCSE. Congratulations!

Thursday 22nd August 2013 was an important day for members of the TEDS project, with thousands of cohort 4 twins collecting their GCSE results. Previously we contacted families in cohorts 1, 2 and 3 (in 2010, 2011 and 2012 respectively), and we have had an amazing response with nearly 7,000 families sending us the results of their GCSEs and other qualifications. We continue to be fascinated by the huge array of subjects and qualifications you've been studying for over the past few years!

A huge thank you to everyone who has sent us their results - your continued support of TEDS is much appreciated. Academic achievement and cognition are two key focuses of our research so having these results is immensely useful. If you haven't yet let us know your results then please do. It's never too late to send them back to us!

Fraser and Robbie Clark, who between them achieved 16 A*s, 4 As and 2 Bs in their GCSE results in 2013

Thank you also to those who have sent us in photos of yourselves with your results, it's been great to see these.

Finally, for those who have taken their exams, a big congratulations to you all for what you've achieved. We wish you every success for whatever you may be doing over the next year, whether that's studying for AS levels, beginning a vocational qualification or entering employment
